Whitby Castle

We had our South Asian wedding at Whitby Castle on July 4. From the beginning, Niki made us feel welcome and confident in our decision. She was responsive, understanding, and flexible throughout the booking process that we truly appreciated. As we got closer to the wedding, Ralph became our main point of contact and he was our Maitre'D. He was incredibly communicative, practical, and reassuring. He helped us work through the last-minute changes and was always focused on finding a solution. We originally chose Whitby Castle because having an outdoor ceremony on the grounds was part of our dream. Unfortunately, due to an intense heatwave, we moved the ceremony indoors at the last minute. I was nervous that it would not have the same feeling, but the space felt elegant, intimate, and beautiful, and our photographs still captured everything we loved. There were a few hiccups throughout the day as well, but the venue including Ralph and Rosa (bridal attendant) remained accommodating and worked well with every one of our vendors to keep things moving. They took care of us that day in moments where no one else was paying attention, and we are eternally thankful to them for that. Whitby Castle is a stunning venue, but also one with a team that genuinely tries to support its couples. We are very grateful to Niki, Ralph, Rosa, and the entire Whitby Castle team for helping bring our wedding together.

May be THE BEST even venue I've ever attended! Flawless! The outdoor ceremony set up was stunning! The hors d'oeuvres on the deck were phenomenal! The servers were professional and friendly. The reception room and servers were excellent! The bathrooms were clean. The decor was gorgeous and the grounds exceptional! Well done! I can't say enough fabulous things about Whitby Castle! The Whitby Castle was great for our wedding event- - Food was excellent, good options and was able to tailor it to what we wanted - Yasmin was a great coordinator, she operated as the maître d' and kept the event organized. She also helped us before the event, always in contact if we needed anything (food changes, extending the time of the event, organizing vendors) - Grounds were beautiful!

I will tell anyone that this is the absolute best wedding venue! We got married at Whitby in August of 2026. We live out of town so almost the entire planning process was done remotely. From the start, Niki was incredibly helpful and communicative and she answered all of our (probably one million) questions. It’s not only a stunning venue, but so many aspects of the wedding are included and handled in-house (catering, bartending, decor setup, wedding cake, etc) that it makes for a very smooth planning process. Not being local, this was very important to us. Every guest was also RAVING about the food. There are so many food options provided by the venue across both cocktail hour and the reception and they are all incredible. You can’t go wrong! You are also able to get ready at the venue in a beautiful upstairs bridal suite and downstairs groom’s quarters. The day of the wedding and leading up to it, Ralph was amazing! He makes sure everything for your event is organized and will run smoothly so you are able to enjoy the day with your friends and family. Rosa was also the best and such a calming, helpful, reassuring presence as your bridal attendant the day of the wedding. I could go on and on, but I’ll close by saying we would choose Whitby over and over again for our wedding!

We had a great experience hosting our wedding at Whitby Castle. From the initial planning stages to the day itself, everything was handled with a high level of professionalism. Booking was straightforward and easy thanks to Ralph and Niki. On the day of the wedding, Roxy and Rosa kept everything moving exactly on schedule. Their coordination ensured that we didn't have to worry about the timeline, and the entire event ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was a major highlight. The chef did an excellent job, and the quality was consistent across every course. He personally talked to each of our guests as well. Our guests were genuinely impressed—we’re still getting compliments about the meal months later, which speaks for itself. We chose to use their vendor package and were very happy with that decision. It significantly simplified the planning process, and the results were exactly what we had hoped for. Overall, Whitby Castle delivered a fantastic day. It’s a beautiful spot, but the service and the kitchen are what really set it apart. Highly recommended.
