Luxury hotel in storied buildings with fine dining, a bar & cooking classes, plus a pool & a spa.
Very comfortable and quiet boutique experince, great property with many hidden spaces to be discovered. It definelty has a character and the attention to details is on good level. I would still work on art direction to make it feel more "Curated" and "chic", has a Massive potential. Great Bar & Rooftop terrace with perfected dishes
We were looking for a combination of a unique, quiet yet lively, safe city and a hotel integrated with local culture and history with the highest hotel service levels possible. We found that perfect combination in San Miguel de Allende and the Casa de Sierra Nevada Belmond hotel. a hotel with the highest Belmond standards, with a strong and enriching Mexican colonial heritage
I recently stayed at the Rosewood hotel up the road and had an amazing 5 day stay. It was possibly the best hotel stay I've ever had. Then I stupidly decided to try this so called 5 star hotel for another 2 more days.. In comparison this hotel seemed like a dingy motel rather than a luxury international 5 start hotel. While the staff were all polite and professional the actual premises is extremely small spread out over 3 separate locations. The rooms were basic and lacked the 5 star quality I was looking for. The main swimming pool area is so small it didn't invite me to hang around. To top it all off this hotel stay was actually more expensive than the Rosewood hotel and I got 80 percent less in terms of service, quality of rooms, food and amenities I will never ever recommend anyone to stay at this motel.. Check the 5 star rating again.. There is a mistake!
We did a friends trip to San Miguel—two couples—and there was no detail spared at this lovely Belmond property. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. Ana and Santiago helped us with check in and got us settled in our rooms. Ana was always present and we loved seeing her throughout our stay—so kind and attentive. We had 1 night stay and dinner at the Casa Parque before moving to Casa Fuente. I can’t complain about the facility at Casa Parque, only that it is quite far from everything we wanted to do. It’s about a 10-15 min walk from the lobby. Once we moved to Casa Fuente, the trip only got better. And I must thank Alejandro, Gustavo, and of course, Michael, for ensuring that we were comfortable in our new rooms. Each one of them was incredibly attentive and kind. There’s truly no need to eat off property if you don’t want to. The food was another level, and the drinks even better. Check out the rooftop bar, but don’t sleep on the Blue Bar… tasty bites and we ended up having dinner there one night because the drinks were too good to want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!
We went for lunch and it was delicious! The service was superb! Beautiful restaurant.
