Hotel Raito Amalfi Coast

We stayed at this hotel for five days, and it was absolutely perfect! The service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a room with a balcony, and the view was exceptional, as you can see in the photos below. I loved sitting out there every morning, watching the sunrise. It was such a beautiful way to start the day! The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade cheese and cannoli. 🤌🏻 We were a little unsure about the road leading to the hotel at first, but after driving it once, we got used to it and found it easy to navigate. The hotel also has a spacious parking area, which is a huge plus if you’re travelling by car. I highly recommend staying here if you want to explore the entire Amalfi Coast, just as we did. We visited some towns by boat and explored others by car, and this hotel was a great base for our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended! ❤️

We stayed at Raito on the Amalfi Coast for 5 nights during our honeymoon, and it was such a wonderful experience! They upgraded our room for the occasion, and the view was absolutely amazing. The room itself was on the smaller side, especially the shower, which I really wish had been bigger, but the beautiful views and overall experience made up for it. The breakfast setup was fantastic! We enjoyed both breakfast in bed and their lovely buffet. We also had dinner at the hotel, drinks at the bar, and spent time relaxing by the beautiful pool area. We even treated ourselves to a couples massage at the spa, which made our honeymoon stay even more special. One thing we found a little unusual was that everything had to be charged to the room rather than paying directly at the bar or other facilities. Not a big deal, just something different from what we're used to. What really stood out was the service. Every single person we interacted with was wonderful, and the attention was truly 10/10! Despite wishing the room and shower were a bit more spacious, we absolutely loved our stay. Between the breathtaking views, delicious breakfasts, relaxing facilities, and exceptional hospitality, I honestly didn't want to leave and continue our trip! LOL. Such a memorable part of our honeymoon!

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at Hotel Raito in Vietri sul Mare. What impressed me most was undoubtedly the panoramic view from our room. It is truly breathtaking, and watching the colours of the coastline shift throughout the day was one of the most memorable parts of our stay. The hotel is beautifully positioned, with incredible views over the coast. We also thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Everything was excellent, from the roasted octopus to the delizia al limone, which was the perfect way to end the evening. The hotel also offers an extremely convenient complimentary shuttle service to Vietri sul Mare. Although the town is only about two kilometres away, the road is not really suitable for walking and parking in Vietri can be challenging. Being able to leave the car at the hotel and simply take the shuttle made exploring the town so much easier. Vietri is also a wonderful place to shop for its famous hand-painted ceramics, with prices often considerably more reasonable than in some of the better-known towns along the Amalfi Coast. What ultimately made our stay so enjoyable, however, was the genuine warmth of the staff. Everyone made us feel truly welcome, with a level of kindness and attentiveness that never felt forced. A special mention goes to Alessia, Luigi and Gabriella at reception, as well as Ido, who looked after us during dinner and made an already lovely evening even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our weekend at Hotel Raito and would be very happy to return.

Beautiful view, but unfortunately not a 5-star experience. The view from the hotel is beautiful and the staff were genuinely very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not meet the standard we expected from a 5-star property. Our room felt dated and was not properly clean. There were visible signs of wear and poor maintenance, including chipped corners and other details that I would not expect at this level. We also found the room uncomfortably cold during the night, to the point that I had to sleep wearing a jumper. We had booked and prepaid for two nights, but after the first night we decided to leave early because there was shortage of petroleum due to strikes and we needed to drive to Bari and were not happy with the overall experience. We asked the hotel if they could refund the unused night but unfortunately they were unable to offer any refund. I want to stress that the staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay, and the views are genuinely beautiful. However, for a hotel presented as 5-star, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, room comfort and overall condition. I would not choose to stay here again, especially for 300€ a night!

My partner and I had an excellent stay here and would happily staying here for another vacation. The staff was exceptionally kind to us as, big shout-out to Kate for making our stay feel extra special! The amenities really make this hotel worthwhile, including the shuttle that takes you into town (saving you a super steep climb up and down) as well the pool. Pretty much anywhere in the facilities will give you a great view of the water, and the partial view room was more than enough to have a beautiful view of the water as well. There's still AND sparkling water in the fitness center too, and if you are a fellow marathoner, a pretty handy treadmill if you don't want to run on the cobblestones as well as a free weight rack. The breakfast has a great spread as well with free espresso drinks. Highly recommend staying here if you want a nice laid back stay on the coast; we easily could've spent the entire time poolside and still felt like we got a great value of our stay.
