Cozy accommodations in an elegant resort with a restaurant, a spa & an outdoor heated pool.
Very nice place other than an incredibly rude manager we had to deal with. Judging by the defensiveness vs humility of some of the replies to bad google reviews , he may be the one assigned to this task. Everyone else was pleasant, especially front desk, maintenance and breakfast attendants but would spend similar money elsewhere in Jackson hole for better customer service. Hot Breakfast consisted of watery eggs, dried out potatoes and greasy bacon so we stuck to fruit and toast. My husband called after booking to let them know we’d be coming for our honeymoon and we mentioned it at check in but nothing was done to really honor that. We don’t expect special things that we didn’t pay for , it would have been nice for someone to have warmly greeted us with a “congratulations” or something but there was nothing at all which was disappointing considering how this place is marketed as romantic and for couples. Our room was very warm upon check in. Maintenance did it great job helping us cool it down but unfortunately any time we turned on the heat, the room would feel like a sauna so it was a perpetual cycle of going to bed hot, turning off unit then waking up frozen. There were about 10 flies in our room which is surprising considering the windows don’t stay open. Also, the spa smelled like mildew when we check it out so we went to snow king instead for couples massage. Charming but semi outdated and as mentioned you’ll get better service elsewhere. We loved bentwood inn, Virginian lodge, gravity haus (in the village).
This is a beautiful resort and property! The property is well maintained and you can't beat the serenity of sitting on your porch, or at the numerous fire pits/seating areas around the resort. The staff at check-in were friendly and welcoming, the bistro food was very good, and the morning breakfast delicious and had everything you could possibly want (and is included in your resort fees). We had a King Creekside Cabin and the views were phenomenal and the room was clean, and lovely overlooking the creek. The resort offers a shuttle to/from downtown Jackson, although it is also a quick 5 minute walk. We used the shuttle and it was quick and easy. We would stay here again without any hesitation.
We absolutely loved the Rustic Inn! When planning our trip, I had looked at several of the other highly recommended places to stay in Jackson Hole, and they weren’t available for our dates. I can honestly say I’m SO glad they weren’t because Rustic Inn was AMAZING! The property is beautiful and has the perfect rustic, mountain feel. It truly felt like we were in Wyoming and fit the whole feel of our vacation perfectly. We actually stayed in both a King Cabin and a Superior Guest Room with Fireplace, so we got to experience both. While we enjoyed the cabin, the Superior Guest Room with Fireplace was well worth the little bit extra—especially if you love that cozy log-cabin feel. I would also highly recommend requesting an upper-level room. We loved having the balcony and the view! We had both breakfast and dinner at the resort, and the food was delicious. Everyone we encountered on the staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is another big plus—close enough to easily enjoy downtown Jackson, but the property itself feels peaceful and tucked away from all the activity. Rustic Inn ended up being one of those happy surprises that made our trip even better than we planned. If we return to Jackson Hole, we wouldn’t even look anywhere else. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!
Extremely disappointed with our experience at Rustic Inn Creekside. What was supposed to be an enjoyable getaway in Jackson Hole turned into an expensive and frustrating experience because of the terrible customer service. My girlfriend and I were traveling with our two dogs and found this property advertised as pet friendly on Hopper. Based on that information, we booked a room. Here’s the ridiculous part. We booked the hotel online literally 10 MINUTES before arriving and checking in. Upon arrival, we were informed that dogs weren’t allowed. We explained the misunderstanding and showed the front desk employee the listing advertising the property as pet friendly. Rather than showing any understanding, the gentleman working the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and inconsiderate. We weren’t trying to break any rules. We simply made an honest mistake based on information advertised online. Yet they refused to even consider a refund, despite the reservation being made just minutes earlier. When I asked to speak with a manager, the employee refused to get one. He said he’d leave a note for management to contact us, but that phone call NEVER came. No follow-up, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the situation. How can a resort charging well over $300 a night be so unwilling to work with guests over a reservation made just 10 minutes before arrival? I understand nonrefundable policies, but where is the common sense, compassion, or basic hospitality? What bothered me most wasn’t even the money. It was the complete lack of professionalism and willingness to help. We weren’t demanding special treatment. We simply wanted someone in management to hear us out and consider a reasonable solution. Instead, we were treated like an inconvenience. It certainly felt like once they had our money, our concerns no longer mattered. For a resort that presents itself as an upscale destination, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Beautiful accommodations mean nothing when the people representing the property treat paying guests so poorly. Jackson Hole has plenty of other places to stay. I’d strongly recommend spending your money somewhere that actually values its guests. We will not be returning.
This is a beautiful property that we stayed at as part of a group tour. Our room was nice with two queen size beds and 2 luxurious robe. My biggest complaint is how noisy the sink is after you run some water. Also, the room got very bright after sun came up. Luckily, I brought eye masks. Since we were part of a tour, we didn't have a lot of interaction with front desk and other staff. The resort's location is ideal for walking into town and touring the city of Jackson and finding great restaurants. The pool was a little cold while we visited, but the hot tub was great. They do have a nice laundry facility with reasonable prices. Our unit had a nice porch with two comfortable chairs for relaxing outside. We really enjoyed our time at this resort.
