The hotel is beautiful and in a good spot to get around anywhere you need. The service was great, the front desk staff was helpful, the rooms were cleaned well, and the all the staff was friendly. One night we had a misunderstanding when a waiter stopped us on the street and followed us back to the hotel claiming we did not pay a bill at their restaurant. The waiter followed us back to the hotel and brought the cops with them. We were nervous and unable to communicate well with the cops. Camila helped us translate and show the cops proof that we were never at the restaurant that the waiter was claiming we were at. Without her the whole situation would have been a lot more stressful and we may have even lost money. Thank you for making this trip comfortable, relaxing, and safe.

Gerardo made our stay truly incredible. We came from CDMX for the weekend and upon arrival we got an upgrade of our room alongside a coffee and incredibly kind greeting. They let us check in at 11:30AM so we were able to rest right after arriving. Our trip back to CDMX was leaving at 7:30AM and they prepared us snack bags for our travel in place of the included breakfast. I’m always reminded in times like this the benefit in staying at a hotel rather than an AirBnb when the service is above and beyond welcoming. We will be returning! If you’re seeing this, go ahead and book your stay! My wife and I came here as our first stay during our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Victor was specially attentive to us during our stay, and we appreciated the excellent service we received. The rooms were clean, uniquely decorated, and the location was unbeatable. We look forward to many futures stays at this hotel on our return to SMA.

We booked the Conception Hotel based on reviews and were not disappointed. The location is right in the center of the town easy walking to everything, the rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. We had breakfast every morning and could order eggs any which way we wanted, we loved the ham and cheese omelette. The front desk staff was always helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and beautiful courtyard of the hotel which is always impeccably well maintained. Thank you to Everyone at Hotel Conception for our wonderful stay, we hope to come back soon.

Hotel Concepción is truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property and the exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk to all the charm and energy of San Miguel. The room was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt intentional and added to the overall experience of luxury and relaxation. What really set this stay apart was the impeccable service from Geraldo, Victor and the whole staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. They even made my friend feel incredibly special on her birthday, which meant so much to all of us. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend Hotel Concepción enough. It’s a gem in San Miguel, and I can’t wait to return.
