My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Meritage Resort & Spa. Our balcony view was absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot to take in the village and enjoy the Boney James concert. What truly made our stay special was the people. Silvia Bautista, Banquet Captain, was so kind and informative, and she personally walked me over to see the Crusher statue. Tom M., Director at Ember, and Veronica went above and beyond to get us our reservations (Tom now knows me as "the Tomahawk lady"). Our servers, Jack and Kevin, brought such energetic and genuine service. They truly made our meal. A special thank you to Paul, General Manager, and Matthew for their warm hospitality and for making us feel so welcome from the start. You can tell great leadership sets the tone here. I pay close attention to how a property makes guests feel, and Meritage delivered. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending it to my clients. Thank you to the whole team!

Make no mistake-- this is not a charming, romantic Napa getaway resort for a luxury holiday. It's well run but centered around large corporate events. Downtown Napa and cute wineries are 10-20 minute drive, but nothing cute is walkable as this is located in the middle of an industrial park with large corporations. The massive parking lots are convenient but sort of ruin the vibe. We stayed in the new annex part with humongous, clean rooms but zero charm. The restaurant was pretty good.

Came to meritage with my family for a conference. The staff here is really incredible and especially a big shout-out to Skyler who was incredibly nice and gracious throughout everything. And another big shout-out to Monica who helped us find a private place to breast feed the baby while we were waiting for our room to get ready, and was also just wonderful. Thank you Meritage for the gracious service and especially these two wonderful people :)

Great stop at the entrance to Napa. This place is HUGE and seems overwhelming for the area providing the most hotel rooms of any overnight in the area. People are kind, but beware you will likely be surrounded by a conference, tons of families, and the sprinkle of girls trips and couples getaways. Honestly a good overall experience just more noise and chaos than the region traditionally markets. Best sure to get offsite early and often. Enjoy!

We were flat-out lied to when we booked our rooms at the Meritage. We were specifically told we would have a view of the stage, which was the entire reason we booked these rooms. When we arrived, there was no view at all. Not an obstructed view. No view of the stage whatsoever. We spoke with the manager, Tiffany, and she did absolutely nothing to help. No explanation, no attempt to move us, and no real effort to make the situation right. She seemed completely unconcerned that we had paid for rooms based on information the hotel gave us that simply wasn’t true. For a resort charging these prices, this is completely unacceptable. If you’re considering staying here, I would avoid booking with them. They clearly cannot be trusted to deliver what they promise, and once you arrive, management apparently has no interest in fixing it. ***UPDATE: My mother is 93, not 96, and this stay was not for her birthday. At no time that evening were we offered complimentary concert tickets, nor did we ever request front row VIP tickets. We specifically asked whether there was anywhere we could go to see the stage and were told no because we did not have tickets. The only thing Tiffany offered us that evening was an apology. You later offered us a complimentary hotel stay on another date, which we declined. We live locally and had no reason to stay at The Meritage other than to allow our mother to see Diana Ross comfortably. A future hotel stay cannot replace that one specific performance. Receiving the room type we reserved is not the issue. I asked for two queen beds and a view of the stage. I was assured when booking, and again at check-in, that we would have that view. The photos show that the stage and performance were blocked. I am very disappointed that your public response describes offers and requests that never occurred. I ask that you correct the record and provide a full refund for the room that was not provided as represented.
