We truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Briarcliff Manor and especially Kelsey. From the very first time my husband and I walked through the doors, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. We only toured one venue because we immediately knew it was the perfect fit for us. The beauty of the property, the charm, and the feeling we had there made us feel like we had found “our place.” Growing up, I always loved the movie Father of the Bride, and walking into The Briarcliff Manor gave me that same timeless, elegant feeling as the home where Annie got married. It felt like the perfect setting for the wedding I had always dreamed of, and I knew it was somewhere we would create memories we would cherish forever. Kelsey was absolutely incredible throughout the entire planning process. She was patient with my endless questions, requests, and big personality, and she always made us feel heard and supported. Her organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail helped make the entire process feel so much easier. On our wedding day, she made sure everything ran seamlessly so we could truly relax and soak in every moment. The entire Briarcliff Manor team went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. The venue was absolutely stunning, the service was exceptional, and the food was incredible. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was, and we have heard from multiple people that the salmon was the best they have ever had! We are so grateful to Kelsey and the entire team at The Briarcliff Manor for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. We truly cannot imagine celebrating our love anywhere else, and we will always be thankful for the memories created in such a special place.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at The Briarcliff Manor, and from a wedding photographer’s perspective, this is an exceptional venue. One of the things I appreciated most was the variety of locations available for photographs without having to take the couple away from their wedding for long periods of time. The manor itself has so much character. The white exterior, stately columns, sweeping staircases, fireplaces, terraces, and surrounding grounds give you a great mix of classic architecture and natural backgrounds. The views toward the Hudson and the Palisades are especially beautiful and give the property a sense of place that really comes through in the photographs. The front of the manor is fantastic for portraits, particularly when you want something a little more formal and architectural. At the same time, there are plenty of areas around the property that allow for more relaxed photographs of the couple and wedding party. As the light changes throughout the day, there are opportunities to create completely different looks without ever needing to leave the venue. I was also impressed with how well the property works from a wedding-day logistics standpoint. As a photographer, I pay a lot of attention to how easily a couple can move from getting ready, to portraits, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. A venue can be beautiful, but if the logistics are difficult, it can affect the entire experience. The Briarcliff Manor gives couples the ability to enjoy their day while still having plenty of opportunities for great photographs. The interior is equally strong. The historic details give the rooms personality, but everything still feels bright, polished, and appropriate for a modern wedding. There are also good options indoors, which is incredibly important because no wedding photographer ever wants the entire photography plan to depend on perfect weather. Most importantly, it felt like a venue designed around the experience of the couple and their guests rather than simply being a beautiful backdrop. There is an intimate quality to the property that I really enjoyed. Even with a full wedding taking place, it still feels personal. Having photographed weddings at many venues throughout the New York area, I’m always looking for places that give couples a great experience while also providing us with the flexibility to create a varied collection of photographs. The Briarcliff Manor absolutely does that. I would happily photograph another wedding here and would definitely recommend The Briarcliff Manor to couples looking for a beautiful Westchester wedding venue with historic character, Hudson River views, and a great variety of portrait locations.

I was at the Briarcliff Manor for a lunch event. The food was really good and the staff was great. The view of the Hudson was also a nice surprise. If you have an upcoming event, I would definitely check this place out!

I cannot thank the team at the Briarcliff Manor for a more seamless, memorable and fun wedding! From the first meeting we knew this was the place for us. Perry and Vincenza run a beautiful venue with some of the best staff around. Kelsey was a god-send through the planning process, constantly checking in and making sure there were no panic moments. My guests cannot stop talking about he actual wedding. The location is gorgeous and perfect, the grounds are immaculate and the food and service were amazing. Thanks to the hard work of all of the staff it was truly everything I could have imagined. 100/10.

Yes the exterior looks nice but beyond that, everything fell below expectations. My sister had a wedding here and the planning/coordination process was anything but streamlined. The internal team would consistently contradict each other. We were told one thing and then we are told another. This venue was preferred because they are advertised as dog-friendly. They initially said the dogs would be allowed in the bridal suite, but then we were told they are not allowed. We were told we can have alcohol in the suites, shots for the day, but then the day of the wedding, they said alcohol is not allowed. During the wedding day, the 2 coordinators were giving us different directions. It was very confusing and frustrating. Another thing to consider is that they have "prefer" vendors but the reality is they dictate who you can/cannot used. New vendors are hesitant because they make the process very difficult and have too many restrictions. Flowers are also provided by the owner's wife, and you are essentially forced to only use her as the vendor. My sister was very disappointed in the flowers. They were not fresh and she did not even get the flowers she specifically requested, instead she was provided with cheaper flower selections. Regarding the food, it was mediocre. During our tasting, we were not impressed by the food. Our selection process was not hard because we could not narrow our choices, but rather we didn't know what was good enough to add. Lastly, they did not spray down the yard at all. It was filled with bugs, ants every where, mosquitoes flying around. Just the lack of professionalism would be enough to not consider this place. Once you sign a contract with them, the nightmare begins. They will start contradicting things they promised you at the beginning.
