Everything was so wonderful for our 40th wedding anniversary! Everyone at the front desk were so accommodating to get us an ocean view room so we could have a view with our dinner in our room. Zoe was so wonderful and also the nice young man who was assisting her. You are lucky to have such wonderful staff. Everyone from valet, to luggage assistance, to housekeeping and room service are outstanding. That is why we always come back to celebrate important moments in our life. And if course the property and rooms are spectacular.

From the moment we arrived, we were taken by how gorgeous The Ritz-Carlton Bacara is. The grounds are stunning, and the location right on the Santa Barbara coastline is simply unbeatable. But as beautiful as the setting is, it’s the people who make this place what it is. They truly embody everything The Ritz-Carlton is famous for. At Lulio, our waitress Lexie was the highlight of our evening. She couldn’t have been more delightful to talk to. She was so passionate about everything she shared with us, and her knowledge of the science behind food and wine pairings made for such a fascinating conversation. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it made our dinner unforgettable. A special thank you as well to Alex and Tracy at the Club Lounge, who made us feel completely at home every time we stopped by. Their warmth and attention to detail made the whole stay feel personal. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable visit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most amazing two-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara in August to celebrate my birthday! It was the perfect little getaway, and we spent most of our time enjoying the VIP Club Lounge, indulging in the endless food and drinks, and relaxing by the beautiful pool. The property is absolutely stunning, and the entire experience felt like a true escape. Being able to slow down, lounge by the pool, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and soak up the beautiful Santa Barbara coastline made the stay feel extra special. It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday, and we left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and already wanting to come back. A big thank you to the entire staff, who made this a truly unforgettable trip. We felt so loved!!! If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway in Santa Barbara, I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton Bacara!

My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara was a wonderful birthday gift to myself. Everything was delightful, from the gracious upgrade to a Junior Suite to the beautiful coastal setting and the atmosphere throughout the resort. My birthday dinner at Marisella was a particular highlight. In my experience, few restaurants in America capture this distinctly European approach to dining so well, from the thoughtfully sized portions to the elegant presentation and the pace of the meal. The food and setting made it a truly memorable celebration. It would be difficult to imagine a more beautiful place for a coastal escape. I especially loved the chairs where you could settle in and gaze at the stars, the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, and the natural, unspoiled sandy beach. There is something very special about being surrounded by such beauty while enjoying every comfort. The fitness center also deserves praise: the equipment was excellent and made working out a pleasure. As a luxury travel advisor, I pay close attention to the details that make a stay memorable. Bacara gave me so many reasons to recommend it and to return myself. Thank you to the entire team and Peter Mack specifically for making my birthday stay so special. And this million dollar view from lower village - something to remember forever

My husband and I had a quick getaway to this property over the 4th of July weekend. The resort was full. That said, there's enough space on the property to find a quiet place to relax. The pools and restaurants were packed. There were a lot of kids and dogs around. The dogs were having a grand time and owners were attentive to make sure they were well- behaved and appropriate. Staff was attentive and tried to give custom recommendations on check in. Room was generous, well appointed and had a large deck. I think the price gives people high expectations for the property. As well, some people won't like how far north and away from SB the resort is. A few tidbits that could be better: to get down on the beach below the pools, you have to traverse piles of sandbags. That could be better planned and constructed. The plumbing seemed a bit off. Toilets needed several flushes to clear at multiple locations on the property. I think we'll return in the future. It is a lovely location and the service and space was generous.
