The rooms are lovely, with the exception of a lack of bathroom privacy, and the location is great. For the most part the service was good. I particularly appreciated the valet workers who helped with transportation in the area and were always very friendly. I was injured while using the bathtub in my room. I bumped against the faucet while getting out and sliced my back open. The staff that immediately helped me with a first aid kit were quick and diligent. What did bother me is the lack of follow up from any managerial staff to figure out what happened or if I needed anything additional. That’s the level of care I would expect from a 5 star hotel. The onsite restaurant was a bad experience. The food was subpar with the bacon being so chewy it bordered on inedible. The service was not good. Friendly but just not present. I waited 20 minutes for someone to bring me my check and eventually had to hunt someone down. If I hadn’t, I would have missed my ride.

Let's first start off with what was great: - the 1-bedroom suite was spacious and in good condition. - the pool and the hot tubs are very nice and very enjoyable. The breakfast at the restaurant was great. Things that really soured my experience: - massive extortionary cash grab with valet parking ($60/day), especially when there are no other options. - at the time of booking (through American Express), there was no notification that a resort fee (with tax, ~$70/night) would be due, so why was I then charged this again exorbitant resort fee at the hotel??? - if you are participating in the American Express Platinum program, why are mandatory 'gratuity' charges excluded from the credits that American Express provides?

Our stay at the Viceroy Snowmass exceeded every expectation. The room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that made it hard to leave each morning. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming & genuinely eager to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality was outstanding. We also loved dining at the restaurant the food was fresh, flavorful. The fitness center was another pleasant surprise: spacious, modern, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great workout. From the beautiful accommodations to the exceptional service and amenities, every detail was thoughtfully done. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend the Viceroy Snowmass to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable mountain getaway.

The service was degraded from the first time I stayed. Bathroom floor was not clean. Front desk receptionist did not go over my amex benefits, hotel amenities and information. She also didn’t set up my 4pm check out as she said she would. I wouldn’t find out if I didn’t chat with another receptionist later that night. When I got to my room, there were a bag of pop corn and a generic greeting card on the desk. It was very tacky and it showed the lack of care from the management. There was no drinking water inside of the room. When I visited the first time, the staffs were helpful, i got champagne upon my arrival, personal written note from the manager, gift basket with essentials. I was blown away by the welcoming experience. When I voiced my concerns, the manager offered $60 credits as the inconvenience I had experienced. I found it extremely inappropriate. I rather they didn’t do that. I paid $1000 to stay here and didnt expect to receive this kind of treatment and experience. I will not come back and recommend to anyone

I travel in from Denver to work in and around Aspen for various events and have thrice stayed at the Viceroy. The first time the room was exquisite, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The second time the food was sub par. This time again, the room was lovely but the shower head did not work at all. I was there three days, two nights and was unable to shower properly. I called the lobby to give them a heads up and they said they’d make a note. It was near midnight when I called, and having just gotten off work I was too tired to pursue the matter further. When I checked out today, I showed them the video and the receptionist seemed sympathetic but did not offer any kind of compensation. For nearly $400 a night, and $120 in valet, to not have a working shower, I might as well have been camping. While I previously felt inclined to recommend them, I am now 50/50.
