My wife and I have traveled here for day trips a couple of times before, getting massages and then enjoying the pool. Up until this most recent trip (writing this as we are still here!) we never had the pleasure of enjoying an overnight stay, or eating at Sam's Social Club. We brought our two young children with us. The staff - from check in, to pool staff, to Sam's Social Club employees - have been nothing but friendly and accommodating. We are here celebrating my 40th birthday and they even left a nice little card in our bungalow. The bungalow themselves are very, very well designed and you can tell a lot of thought went into the color scheme, fixtures, even the reading lamps on the bed post! We are very impressed and are thoroughly enjoying our stay here.

We had booked massage sessions for both myself and my wife. I got the 50 minute deep tissue massage and my wife received the 50 minute specialty massage. My wife loved her therapist and said it was one of the best massage she ever received. My massage was okay; I liked my therapist's technique and pressure but not her routine. She started on my neck and back, then went to my legs, and then back up to my arms and shoulders. She then flipped and did neck and then legs again. She also asked before the session if I had any areas of focus and I explained my right calf and left shoulder. She did not do anything to address those areas. Why even ask. Afterwards we utilized the mineral pool on property. The pool is nice and big, and the water is really warm. Almost too warm to be honest. But still nice overall. The poolside kitchen wasn't working due to the previous power outage so they were utilizing Sam Social Club's kitchen. I ordered a mergherita pizza, and it was decent; under carriage was a little too floppy/soggy but the crust was excellent. My wife got the shrimp cocktail which was insanely overpriced for three pieces of shrimps; $28 for three shrimps dressed in some mayo based sauce, and a few leafs of lettuce. Overall we enjoyed our spa day, and the pool. Would recommend.

We loved our visit! It was anniversary weekend, and this was a great destination. Room was clean and inviting. Very nice grounds. We took full advantage of the in suite mineral water tub, and the offered spa procedures! Hope to return soon! The price was fair and especially compared to other local hotels and resorts.

The main advantage is access to the mineral pool until midnight if you’re staying at the hotel. The cocktails are good and reasonably priced. The room is spacious and cozy, with a huge terrace. I’m not sure I’d choose a geyser view again - a palm view would be just fine🙌

OMGGGGGGG you have to come experience the mud bath package. My friend and I stayed one night in their lodge. The room was so cute and cozy. They had all the things you need for a nice stay. We loved wandering around in our comfy robes. We did the mud bath package the first day we arrived. It was AMAZING. We did the bath part with rose oil and petals. I felt like a Victorian princess. I still cannot believe how huge and hot the pool is. Something I’ve never experienced!! I had the poke bowl by the pool and it was incredible. Sooo good. The drinks are yummy too. I did a nice relaxing yoga class the next morning that was free! The only thing lacking was a GOOD coffee. I’m a coffee snob. They had free coffee which was not good, then I ordered a latte at the airstream trailer and paid $8 and dumped it. They had an espresso machine but they were using a push button machine instead. Yuck. Other than that, it was a lovely trip!
