Priscilla, Cecilia, and the entire Castello Il Palagio team, we have been reminiscing about our wedding weekend nonstop, and every time we do, we're reminded of just how lucky we were to celebrate it at Castello Il Palagio. It was, without a doubt, the most breathtaking, magical, and meaningful setting we could have ever imagined for such an important chapter in our lives. I will never forget when my mother sent me a link to the castle's Instagram the day after we got engaged and we never looked anywhere else! From the very beginning, the castle stole our hearts, but what made the experience truly unforgettable was the warmth and care you and your team showed us throughout this journey. Thank you so much for welcoming us and our guests with such kindness, for being so organized and thoughtful in every detail, and for working so beautifully with the amazing Chiara Bencini Yes I Do in Tuscany and her team to make everything seamless and special. The feedback we've received from our family and friends has been overwhelming. Everyone keeps saying how the castle felt like something out of a fairytale, and not just because of its beauty, but because of the feeling it created. The energy, the warmth, the joy, it was magic, and we know that's a reflection of the people behind it. Thank you again for opening your doors to us and for helping us create memories that we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives. 🍷 🧀 🍇 Castello / Tenuta Del Palagio in the Chianti region of Florence is an unforgettable experience that far surpassed all of my expectations. From start to finish, the visit was a journey into the heart of Italian winemaking. The experience began with an olive oil tasting that was as flavorful as it was enlightening. Sampling the estate’s freshly pressed oils set the stage perfectly for what was to come. Next, we were taken on a guided tour through the vineyard, where we learned about their winemaking process, the unique characteristics of the Chianti terroir, and the love and care that goes into every bottle they produce. The highlight, of course, was the wine tasting. With over eight wines to sample, it was an absolute dream for any wine lover. Each sip was more incredible than the last, showcasing the vineyard’s mastery of blending tradition with innovation. The guide was beyond friendly and animated, providing rich insights while making the experience feel personal and relaxed. When my boyfriend and I found ourselves without transportation, they kindly drove us back to our accommodation—a gesture that truly went above and beyond. Note: You’ll need a car to visit, as taxis are scarce. Plan ahead for transportation to fully enjoy this magical experience.
