Castello di Vicarello

We had an amazing stay at Castello di Vicarello celebrating our anniversary. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the setting in the Tuscan countryside is hard to beat. We stayed in Suite Sprone, which was wonderful, but what really made the experience stand out was the level of service. The customer experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. There’s a level of personal attention here that you don’t find everywhere, and it really makes a difference. We enjoyed truffle hunting, a cooking class and spa treatments during our stay. Everything came together to make it a memorable experience and a great way to enjoy Tuscany. What we loved most was how personal the entire stay felt. The property is luxurious without being pretentious, and the service makes you feel like you’re truly being taken care of. Castello di Vicarello feels less like a hotel and more like staying with extended family on one of the most stunning hilltops in the world. Isa and the rest of the staff are incredible; super attentive and always one step ahead, but in a way that feels totally natural and unpretentious. It’s just an easy place to arrive and instantly exhale, surrounded by brilliant design, incredible local food, and wine that makes you feel connected to the exact dirt it came from. Even getting caught in a storm there is brilliant. Cozy, wild, and entirely memorable. Can't wait to head back.

Castello di Vicarello is a wonderful place with an amazing staff. With a very small number of rooms, the service level is impeccable. We spent time with two of the owners who are actively involved and care about each guests' experience. The campus is stunning with two wonderful pools and one is heated. Dinner on the terrace every night was a beautiful way to end the day, and we really enjoyed getting to know Jalal and Giuseppe in the evening and Shake for breakfast/lunch. We would highly recommend Castello di Vicarello. It is pretty remote around the property, but for a wonderful place to get away and relax- nowhere better!

A truly charming, romantic, and intimate estate, lovingly designed and cared for. Something you can feel in all the thoughtful little details throughout the property. The team is exceptionally attentive, warm, and welcoming. You can genuinely sense their passion for what they do, and they go above and beyond to make every stay special. We hosted a three day wedding at the estate and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The property offers a wonderful variety of beautiful spaces, each with different possibilities, and the team is incredibly open to ideas and flexible in bringing them to life. They truly rolled up their sleeves and supported us wherever needed, which made such a difference. We would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place for intimate gatherings, special celebrations or simply a relaxing and peaceful getaway to unwind and recharge. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

**Heaven on earth! A truly special family-run gem** My husband and I stayed at Castello di Vicarello for a few nights and it was the highlight of our entire trip! We were torn between this and some of the larger luxury hotels nearby, but wanted a more intimate, family-run boutique experience, and this completely surpassed our expectations! The service was warm, genuine, and personal in a way we've never experienced at other luxury properties. Everything felt tailored to us, not scripted. One night I wasn't feeling well, and the staff went out of their way to check in on me. Michelle even made me a soothing drink to help settle my stomach. It truly felt like being cared for in someone's home rather than staying at a hotel! The food was incredible from start to finish. The cooking class with the chef was an absolute highlight! We made delicious dishes together while Italian music played in the background with UVA, the property dog, lounging at our feet. It was such a memorable experience. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had - no frills, authentic perfection. We're already planning our return.
