Laticastelli Country Relais

We HIGHLY recommend a wedding celebration at Borgo Laticastelli. After finding Laticastelli online, we quickly reached out to the team to find out more. Next thing you know, we were touring the property and doing our tasting in January 2026. They were preparing for the wedding season and expanding various areas, but we still were in love. When we returned in May 2026 for our wedding, we were speechless. In addition to the breathtaking scenery of Tuscany, the property had incredible attention to detail that truly enhanced the already stunning beauty of the region. We started off with a welcome drink on the terrace of the restaurant, and moved for a pizza party on the patio; we ended up moving back to the terrace to keep the party going, because it was a chilly night and it was a bit warmer down by the restaurant. On the wedding day, we had the ceremony on the grass field past the pool (stunning), cocktail hour / aperitif on the pool patio, and dinner in the garden. We started the party with the band on the patio, and moved inside the restaurant to the ‘cave’ (the lower level of the restaurant) for the DJ since it was another chilly night. The decision to hold the DJ inside was actually a day-of decision recommended by Egli, and I’m so glad we did that; it was basically a mini club down in the cave and we had the best time, so much fun that when the DJ was finishing his set, we extended for another hour right then and there. The next day, we had a chill pool party with lunch and an optional BBQ dinner for the remaining guests (some left that day, others went into nearby cities/towns) and it was the most perfect way to decompress with everyone after everything. Planning a wedding from a different country (NY, USA) seems very daunting, but Eglantina made the entire experience easy and fun. She was always so easy to get in touch with regarding questions or just ideas, and always had amazing suggestions- from helping us find / get in touch with vendors, to assisting with smaller details like where on the property to hold each event. Her professionalism, organization, responsiveness, and genuine care made everything feel effortless. We were equally impressed by the venue staff. The level of hospitality, warmth, and professionalism shown by every team member was exceptional. Our guests continuously commented on how welcomed and cared for they felt throughout the entire celebration. Guests were able to easily set up transfers from the venue to different towns, and sincerely felt cared for. We had three ~1 year olds staying at the venue too, the children of our siblings, and even the care that the nannies displayed for the babies was incredible. Every single staff member truly cares, and it shows. Everyone had such a great time that my friends keep talking about how much they’d love to get married at Laticastelli (once they find boyfriends). Eglantina and every single staff member at Laticastelli had a huge role in giving us the most memorable weekend of our lives, and are forever grateful for them. We are so thankful for the memories created at Laticastelli, and would recommend this venue without hesitation to any couple considering a Tuscan wedding. Side note: THE FOOD! My husband and I did not like Tiramisu until we tried Chef Silvia’s. Magical. Also, I will be dreaming of the Pici with Veal Ragu for the rest of my life.

GET MARRIED HERE! My dream wedding came to life! The most organised team and absolutely stunning venue. The food was outstanding, the decorations for our entire wedding week were unique and accurate to exactly our request and the Laticastelli team still went above and beyond to ensure every detail was accounted for. My husband and I were calm and didn’t have to worry about anything during our wedding. The local wedding planner (Eglantina) was very responsive and helped me organise all the best vendors. She made my vision come to life. I truly could not recommend this wedding venue more.

Great place, completely beautiful. The Core “working” Staff amazing. BUT….from the second we stepped foot into our room we didn’t have a working air conditioning unit. It was working in the annex room. But neither bedrooms for this Suite had working units. Multiple other guests, even the Bride and Groom on their Wedding night didn’t sleep in their own room because AC units and power was not working properly. AC and Power distribution around the property is not properly and professionally done, thus AC Units not working. I also noticed lights flicker here and there. The window screens in our room were old and had holes so we couldn’t even comfortably keep the windows open. Things after a few days you notice are just not of the highest quality… that you would expect to be. Right…so no ACs no big deal right… NO! The worst IMO and why I’m writing this review is because the staff responsible, the Management, they did nothing about it and offered nothing to alleviate or compensate. Nothing not even a Room Fan. Which after your in a room with no air flow… that’s lack of Sleep. Over 3 nights maybe I slept 6 hours. My wife even less. No discount. Nothing the Manager spoke to me like a family member and never had a solution or plan. The explanation I got every day was a run around this or that and to be honest in America… that would never be ok. A Corporation like Hilton or Hampton would treat you better than this Management Team. So thanks for the concern you never gave. Here is your review. Be better about simple care and concern. Our stay could have been amazing.

Wow… this place really is the most magical place ever. 🤍 It was the most perfect venue for our wedding, and we honestly couldn’t have imagined celebrating anywhere else. The whole team at the Borgo were absolutely incredible and made our two-day celebration so incredibly special. Every single member of staff was so kind, warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and our guests. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to — and we truly believe the incredible team at the Borgo played such a huge part in making it so magical. We will forever be so grateful and will always have the most special memories here. 🤍✨
