Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast

We have just experienced an amazing stay at Caruso hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary and they kindly upgraded us to an amazing suite. They really couldn’t do more for you. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is luxurious and elegant but not pretentious or formal. We ate twice in Le Pantaleone fine dining restaurant, the food, drinks and whole experience was superb, and they catered very well with our dietary requirements of no meat and a gluten tolerance. We also ate in The Caruso Grill, again a super experience. The infinity pool, the spa, the gardens are all excellent and the views are stunning, so beautiful. And the bar loves preparing drinks for you, any cocktail you desire! This is a very special hotel in a special location with amazing staff who extend a very personal service for your stay. We received many touches of care, eg food and drinks in our room, beautiful toiletries including sun care products, lemon sweets, to name a few, many personal touches. Thank you Caruso for our stay, we loved our stay with you and we hope to return soon! PS a special thank you to the desk staff, always there to help whatever was needed.

There is very little to say other than that everything was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The sommelier and Carmelo, who introduced each dish, set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome and ensured we had the most wonderful time. A special thank you to Giovanni and the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back. If you’re visiting Ravello, don’t miss the chance to dine at Caruso Grill—you won’t be disappointed. P.S. The breathtaking view is just a bonus. It also happens to be the perfect spot for an Instagram-worthy photo!

What a lovely hotel. It’s in the most beautiful of locations on a hilltop overlooking the sea and mountains. The infinity pool is just as fantastic as the photos make it seem. The rooms are lovely and the service from every single staff member is impeccable. The food everywhere within the hotel is also excellent. The concierge service is also especially helpful - if you can imagine it, they’ll arrange it for you. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Every aspect of this hotel is amazing. The breathtaking views, delicious food, and spectacular service - nothing at all could have been better! * We booked the Chef's table for dinner one night - definitely the best dining experience we have ever had. The food was exceptional, which was paired with a great wine recommendation from the sommelier Diego. Our waiter Luigi took the experience over the top and made it a fun and unforgettable evening! * All other dining options on site were also great. We ate at Il Pantelone twice and had an excellent experience each time with our servers Alessio and Domenico. * Caruso Grill had excellent lobster for lunch. We also had the steak Florentine with a bottle of Tignanello (fantastic) one night for dinner with our favorite waiter Luigi! * Adiago Bar is beautiful and had great live entertainment. Special thanks to Carmine and Tommaso for the excellent service throughout our stay. * Other highlights: Breakfast was very good along with the views from the patio each morning. The concierge booked all of our transfers and excursions and made everything very easy and worry free. The infinity pool is incredible with a very nice pool bar along side. The outdoor gym was also really neat, especially if you like doing kettlebell swings right next to a lemon tree or running on a treadmill while overlooking the surrounding cliffs and shorelines. Lastly, the entire staff was so nice and friendly which is what really made our stay so special!

Exceptional lunch with unforgettable views We had lunch at the Caruso grill and it was exceptional from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and polished without feeling stuffy. The views over the Amalfi Coast are as good as anywhere we’ve dined. We eat plant-based, and the staff handled it very well. They tailored the meal for us instead of offering a few token substitutions, and every course was thoughtful and delicious. The chef sent out a small bruschetta to start and finished with a light, refreshing sorbet. Those touches made the meal feel special. If you’re on the Amalfi Coast, reserve a table here, whatever your dietary needs. We would go back in a heartbeat.
