Ojai Valley Inn

Ojai Valley Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. I visited for a girls’ trip, but I can’t wait to return with my family! The grounds are absolutely stunning and offer such a special sense of place. Between the lush landscaping, architecture, and the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains, I was literally in awe the whole time. Every corner of the property is gorgeous. The service was exceptional across the board... warm, welcoming, prompt, attentive. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable – I especially loved the fireplace. The spa was so peaceful and the perfect place to recharge and indulge. We also took a yoga sculpt class, which was such a great way to start the day. There’s so much to do on the property that you really never have to leave, but downtown Ojai is just a 5 minute drive away, with amazing shopping and dining. We loved the food on property as well, especially Olivella. Ojai Valley Inn perfetctly balances luxury with laid-back ease. Everything feels thoughtful and considered. It was truly one of those places I felt lucky to experience and I miss it already!

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff but we are still waiting over an hour for our luggage. Also, if you pay for spa services, while at the hotel, the hotel guest is only allowed the spa room (unless you have a day pass) that day. They can't accommodate. My facial and husbands massage was fantastic! I would return for a day spa...only.

Had a fantastic and relaxing time in Ojai Valley Inn! Spent my 33rd year anniversary with my wife. It was her first time at this resort. I come every year for a yearly business event. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of the 3 days we spent there. The scenery was amazing as always. The staff are very friendly and very helpful! It was great chatting with the employees at the pool. Especially Oldin who just came here from Hawaii 3 weeks ago. The employees at the registration were amazing as well as the concierge. The Oak restaurant was exceptional. I recommend the pork chops and mashed potatoes. Our server Paul was the best! They even started a text thread to accommodate any questions or requests my wife and I needed. My wife especially enjoyed her time spent at their A1 Spa center! Definitely gonna visit again next year!

Ojai Valley Inn is beautiful, but you should go in clear-eyed about this experience. It is in no way a luxury hotel, but they are more than happy to charge luxury prices. The property was packed and service was quite lacking. We came for a low-key weekend…pool, exercise and relax. All of those things were a struggle. The gym was tiny and completely inadequate for the number of guests. People had to literally bicker over weights and space to put down a mat! We went to the Indigo pool late morning only to be turned away and put on a “waitlist”. The pool was the entire reason we selected this hotel! Not to mention, we were never contacted as promised when space opened at the pool. The restaurant at The Oak was swarming with flies. We were greeted at the end with a bill with hidden upcharges for parking and resort fees. Unless you love to burn money I would find somewhere else. The facilities are just not adequate.

Beautiful spot! Celebrated my Bday here. The restaurant, The Oak, was good, service was excellent and the views were gorgeous! They knew it was my b'day and made sure to make my dinner special with a surprise dessert that added a nice touch. I highly recommend this place for any event; B'day, Anniversary, Proposal, Wedding, etc. I cannot rate the hotel rooms in all honesty because we didn't stay in the hotel. We had reservations for the restaurant and then we walked the beautiful grounds. The front desk was extremely friendly and guided us to the restaurant. One day I hope to actually stay at the hotel as they looked beautiful from what we were able to see from the ground level.
