Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany

An absolutely exceptional stay — this is what true luxury hospitality feels like. Our stay at the Belmond was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip. The property and our room were absolutely stunning, but what made the experience so special was the people. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing felt forced or transactional — the hospitality felt sincere from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The level of attention to detail was incredible. Housekeeping was exceptional. We loved coming back to our room to find the thoughtful little gifts and touches they had left for us, and the nightly turndown service made every evening feel special. These may seem like small details, but they are exactly what separates a beautiful hotel from a truly memorable luxury experience. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and felt every bit as special as you would expect from a property of this caliber. We would return without hesitation and cannot recommend it highly enough.

It is difficult to put into words just how special our experience at Castello di Casole was. We stayed at the hotel for our wedding with just under 30 of our closest family, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make such an important week feel completely seamless. With a group of our size, we had plans, food orders and arrangements in place for each day, and absolutely everything was delivered exactly as planned. The whole team were incredibly accommodating, attentive and kind, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy such a special week with our family. A very special mention has to go to Tommaso, Head of Food & Beverage, and Paola, Group & Events Manager, who were both exceptional. Their attention to detail was incredible, but what impressed us most was how they were constantly thinking one step ahead, anticipating what we might need before we had even thought of it ourselves. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at Castello di Casole the evening before our wedding, and it was everything we had dreamed of. The entire evening ran flawlessly. The hotel itself is breathtakingly beautiful, but it is the people who make it truly exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, thoughtful and genuinely attentive. So much is clearly happening behind the scenes, yet as a guest, everything feels effortless. Castello di Casole exceeded our expectations in every way. Our rehearsal dinner was perfect, our stay was unforgettable, and every plan we had made was brought to life exactly as we had hoped. We couldn't recommend Castello di Casole, Tommaso, Paola and the entire team more highly. From the moment my wife and I drove up to Castello di Casole, we could immediately feel that we were arriving somewhere truly special. The property is absolutely beautiful. Andrea greeted us warmly at check-in and made us feel welcome right away. Our room was spectacular, with a stunning mountain view that looked like a painting. The service throughout the property was exceptional, every staff member was incredibly accommodating and attentive. A special shoutout to Ruben, who made us feel right at home. He’s genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve ever met and truly outstanding at what he does—we felt like family by the time we left. The cocktails at the bar were also fantastic; I had one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever had. You can tell Matteo really knows his craft. The food was immaculate, especially the breakfast spread, and Ramsey took great care of us each morning. Needless to say, this was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We can’t wait to come back, relax, and enjoy it all over again. A presto, con grande gratitudine!

Amazing hotel in the heart of Tuscany. A simply surreal experience at this hotel for my wife’s 50th birthday. The flowers were in full bloom during our visit which made the air around the property literally smell like a bouquet. The service across the board was excellent and never missed a step. You will be hard pressed to find a better hotel to stay in for your Tuscan vacation experience.
