Auberge du Soleil

Our experience at Auberge du Soleil was absolutely exceptional. Of all the wonderful restaurants we visited during our 15-day trip through California, this was the one that truly stood out—and the one we kept talking about long after we left. The food was outstanding. We had several excellent dining experiences throughout our trip, but there was something particularly memorable about this one. Every detail came together beautifully, from the incredible food to the amazing service. And then there are the views—they are simply spectacular. The setting makes the entire experience feel even more special. This was easily one of the highlights of our California trip and a meal we will remember for a very long time. Absolutely worth the experience, and somewhere we would love to return to.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this amazing restaurant, and the entire evening was unforgettable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the staff was even more incredible. We chose the six-course meal with wine pairings, and every dish was emotional, engaging, and perfectly balanced. The chefs are true artists in the kitchen, creating impeccable flavors with every course. Josue, Javier, and Gaby took exceptional care of us and made the experience even more special. Josue was especially knowledgeable about the food, wine, and the restaurant’s history, which added so much depth to the evening. We truly cannot put into words how meaningful and special this night was for us. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality and for giving us a memory and gift we will never forget.

We had a fantastic stay. I have no notes. The service was exceptional across the board, we loved our spa treatments and the various spa features, the tennis court is stunning, our time at the pool was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and private. All our meals were delicious. My spouse has Celiac disease, and the resort did an excellent job ensuring everything we were served was gluten free and free of cross-contamination. We are lesbian/queer and felt very comfortable. We looked forward to staying at this Auberge location again the next time we are in Napa.

We only had lunch at the restaurant. The setting is Beautiful and the atmosphere wonderful. On a sunny day with a soft breeze, it made for a memorable experience. Most of the food was authentic and flavorful. The cocktails were not that good but the wine selection obviously good and the service impeccable. Highly recommended especially for a romantic meal.

Incredible lunch at Aubergine, gorgeous day sitting outside. The meal was perfect from service, setting and food. The let us relax with drink and no pressure to order. We started with corn soup and octopus, both incredible. My short rib melted in my mouth, so delicious. The pork was perfectly cooked too. We never go to SF without having a lunch here. Perfect birthday luncheon. Wendy was our fabulous server, thank you!
