Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

Some places you visit, others stay with you… Anantara Amalfi is one of them. We spent five wonderful nights at Anantara Amalfi and were delighted from the very first moment we arrived until our departure. The entire team throughout the hotel was exceptional, genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. You immediately feel welcomed and truly looked after. A particular highlight was breakfast on the terrace. Having the breakfast served, not the usual buffet, while enjoying the breathtaking view over the sea is simply impossible to describe, a truly magical way to start the day. Our dinner at Ristorante Dei Cappuccini was another unforgettable experience. The Chef’s signature dishes, like the spaghetti with the ancient tomatoes were outstanding and an absolute pleasure to enjoy. The entire service team made the evening truly special with their warmth and professionalism. The sommelier curated a wonderful local wine pairing for us, featuring a selection of exceptional wines from Campania. Our days in this very special hotel will remain a wonderful memory for a long time and not to forget the view from our balcony over cost of Amalfi. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and the experience was incredible all around. The building itself is full of character and history, with its beautiful church and historic architecture. At times, it felt as though we were staying inside a museum, and we loved simply spending time on the property. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the food was amazing. We stayed at two other five-star hotels during our time in Italy—one in Rome and another in Amalfi—and Anantara Convento di Amalfi was far and away our favorite experience. One of the greatest highlights was the breakfast—the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Every morning, they brought a miniature buffet directly to our table, with different pastries, small bites and daily surprise dishes. There was also an extensive à la carte menu, and everything we ordered was genuinely delicious. Combined with the beautiful outdoor setting and amazing service, it created an unforgettable experience. The massage was also one of the best we have ever had and far exceeded our expectations. Lastly, our dinner at Dei Cappuccini was our favorite meal during our ten days in Italy. We had our favorite pasta of the trip, and we loved the beautiful setting and atmosphere. The generous spacing between the tables made the dinner feel peaceful, romantic and private—something many expensive restaurants in Italy did not get right. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and would love to return one day.

This hotel and every member of the team is absolutely first class. The historic hotel is in pristine condition, beautifully decorated and incredibly well kept. Francesca, Mirko, Marco(!), and the whole team are incredibly kind, attentive and took great care of my wife and I while we were guests. The rooms, the food, the views, and the setting can’t be beat. I highly recommend. It’s also very centrally located to Positano and Ravello and offers a great base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. 💯🤌🏼🇮🇹

One of the BEST Hotels ever. The views of Amalfi are breathtaking. The entire hotel is an exploration with the original Chapel ( and Gregorian Chants) is beautiful and peaceful. The entire staff becomes as "family"-so professional and accommodating!! The food is stellar and we can't wait to return!!

What a wonderful and unique property, full of history and spectacular views. More importantly - All the team are fantastic and service on point - it stands out. Gennaro and Luigi on the bar were amazing! A special shout out to Marzia… she is an absolute rock star. She made our stay truly exceptional. Many thanks and hope we make it back!
